Return Policy

General Formulations, Inc has a policy of customer satisfaction. We stand by our products, and warrant them to meet the specification as listed in our Product Bulletins. As a Manufacturer of custom products, we do not stock any finished products. All materials  are cut to size, based on specific customer’s orders. This assures you of fresh material on every order. Although we do our best to guarantee the quality of our materials, if there is a perceived defect in a product the following procedure applies.

  1. Report the problem to the GF Customer Service Department as soon as possible. ALL CLAIMS must be made within 10 days after receipt of goods.
    1. Please have the lot / roll number available, as this will help to identify your specific order, and expedite any potential return.
    2. Send a sample of the material for lab evaluation.
    3. A complaint will be filed, and the lab findings will be discussed with you.
  2. If additional material is required, a separate order is required for the replacement.
  3. Based on the information obtained from the sample, a return may be approved. An “RMA” Return Material Authorization” number will be assigned, and will include specific shipment requirements. No credit will be issued until the returned material has been received in good condition. It is the customer’s responsible to package the material for a safe return to our facility. We cannot accept any return that does not have an approved  RMA number.
  4. Upon receipt and inspection of the material, a credit will be issued.

Because all materials are cut to order, we do not accept returns for non-defective material. We will make every effort to help our customer’s resell overstocked product, but any approved returns will require a 25% restocking charge to cover any repackaging and rebilling costs incurred.
