- What is your minimum and maximum sheet size?
- General Formulations has the ability to achieve a small sheet size of 13.5”x14”, and cut a sheet up to 60”x120”.
- What types of adhesives do you offer?
- General Formulations offers a wide variety of adhesives, specific to the film that is requested. We offer permanent, removable, low-tac removable, high tack permanents and rubber based.

- Do you have UL approved vinyls and polyesters?
- Yes, the following is a list of our items that have met Underwriters Laboratory approval:
- VFW-NTC-AP/90# - 3.4 mil white non top coated, permanent adhesive
- VFW-TC-AP/90# - 3.4 mil white top coated, permanent adhesive
- C1-STC-AP/90# - 1 mil clear polyester, print treated, permanent adhesive
- C15-STC-AP/90# - 1.5 mil clear polyester, print treated permanent adhesive
- C2-STC-AP/90# - 2 mil clear polyester, print treated, permanent adhesive
- S2-STC-AP/90# - 2 mil silver polyester, print treated, permanent adhesive

- Are any of your materials FDA approved?
- Currently, General Formulations does not have any vinyls or polyesters that have been approved by the FDA..
- What are your standard sheet and roll sizes?
- Standard sheet sizes are 27”x20” and 27”x38”, (24”x30” vfw only) in 250 sheet cartons.
- Roll sizes are 54”x309 and 54” x 750’ with 3” or 6” core sizes available.
- Can I order a specific sheet or roll size? What are your standard sheet and rolls sizes?
- Custom slitting and sheeting is available; minimums are based on 300,000 square inches.
- How soon can I expect my order to ship?
- General Formulations is driven to process your order as quickly as possible, in many cases, for standard sizes, we can ship same-day from one of our many warehouses near you.
- Custom sizes typically take 2-3 days, ask your Customer Care Representative for confirmation of time.
- What is best for my type of printing, Non-topcoated or topcoated material?
- Printing processes vary; it is best to get the film that best suits your process. A simple rule of measure is:
- For Vinyl - Non-topcoated is best for UV Screen & Offset Printing and Solvent Digital Inkjet too. Top-coated is best used with conventional off-set printing and screen printing with enamel inks.
- For Polyester - Topcoated or print treated films are used for most screen and off-set printing methods.

- Do you have material application procedures available?
- Application procedure sheets are available, call for more info.
- Do you have MSDS sheets readily available for your materials?
- MSDS are readily available, call for more info.
- Do you offer reflective film?
- At this time, General Formulations does not offer reflective film. However, we do offer Glow-in-the-Dark and Fluorescent polyesters.
- What types of job opportunities are available?
- Do you pay freight on orders?
- No, but we do receive deep discounts from our freight carriers and we pass those discounts on to our customers. We prepay and bill the freight for open account customers.
